Yes, it’s that time of year here in the US when all of us are urged to take time to reflect on the people/places/things for which we are grateful. Some folks go home to eat turkey (or ToFurkey or TurDuckEn) at the family dinner table, and others sup with friends — what one of my pals calls her “Chosen Family”.
As for me, I got engaged on Thanksgiving 2 years ago, so now it has a special romantic flavor among all of the other autumnal flavorings on offer.
Speaking of flavor — I’ve posted some articles on our Facebook page about how breathing deeply can enhance our lives in many ways, including the taste of the food we eat.
So I guess I am most grateful for the ability to BREATHE DEEPLY! (breathe with me, y’all!) Especially when it comes to my mom’s apple crumb pie!
I’m also grateful for my brother, Mike, who is the Oz behind the curtain for FBS — this website and all of the workings behind the podcast and social media etc are him. In the next 2 weeks you’ll see more of his magic when we post some YouTube vids (also thanks to Zaki R. for filming those!) and drop Episodes 3 and 4 of the FBS podcast. Thanks ML — love you, man.
If you’d like to thank someone who has been essential to your personal success, you can leave a comment below — we’d love it! Happy Thanksgiving!
